From the walls, to the floors, to the tunnel pipes, burrow decorating is a big part of the fun of playing Tunnel Town. Not only is decorating fun, but it often comprises goals and challenges set by levels in the game.And as an extra bonus: all wallpaper, floor, and tunnel pipes can be removed at any time, for their entire gem value. That is, if you place a tile accidentally, no worries, simply select the "plain" style, (first in whichever category, costs 0 gems) and place it where you placed the initial accidental tile. Viola! Your gems are returned to you.
This return-exchange thing comes in extra-handy when completing those aforementioned decorating goals and challenges. Say you place five wallpaper tiles, and then set those same five tiles back to the "plain" default tile, that would count as 10 wallpaper tiles toward the amount needed to complete your goal. The same goes for floor and tunnel pipes. All of these challenges can be completed without spending a single gem. 100% free!
